Originally from Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico & a National Board Certified teacher, Bertha currently shares best practices & professional development for World Language teachers through her blog, Instagram account, & active Facebook Communities Transformation Through Acquisition Driven Instruction & Jamboard for World Language Teachers.
Bertha facilitates training & observations for new teachers at her school district. She has also presented & facilitated workshops for SCOLT, WL GADoe, Conference in the Cloud, World Language Teacher Summit and numerous districts in Georgia & Florida.
She enjoys empowering teachers to continue to stay connected to their passion for world language teaching through sharing practical & powerful engagement & student agency strategies all while placing students at the center of the learning experience.
