I have been teaching Spanish for more than 30 years in a variety of settings. I have taught high school Spanish at both public and private schools as well as in K-12 in public, private, and homeschool settings. I have been teaching Spanish at the college level since 2000 with experience in community colleges and 4-year institutions both public and private. I am passionate about foreign/world language education with a focus on promoting and designing effective, communicative, online world language courses. I recently completed my EdD in Instructional Design and Technology with a focus on asynchronous online foreign language courses. My dissertation title is Attitudes of Community College Faculty Toward Online Foreign Language Courses. I am also passionate about study abroad and the opportunity it provides for students and faculty to learn and expand their horizons. My most recent project is the creation of a Spanish Certificate with two tracks, Spanish majors and workforce (LSP).
