Short videos are a means with which to motivate & engage students in language learning & improve their intercultural awareness by providing authentic listening practice. Participants will learn how to use short animated videos with no sound, as well as cortometrajes from Spanish speaking countries, to engage students. Come participate in activities that accompany each video shown & learn how to find & evaluate videos for class use & to create activities to go with them.
