Thanks to its geographic location, Martinique and its cuisine have experienced influences ranging from continental French, tropical to maritime as well as traditions and ingredients brought by waves of invaders and immigrants. The presenter will give an overview of the geography and history of the island and how they have contributed to create a rich and diverse cuisine.
