Liza Marilyn Heath is a dedicated language educator from Puerto Rico that has been teaching pre-school through 5th grade students in their L2 through L4 since 2003. Her experience teaching foreign languages includes teaching English, Spanish, and Latin in Puerto Rico, Miami, Morocco, and Mobile, Alabama. Learning Moroccan Arabic as an adult and teaching students their 5 core subjects in their L3 and L4 was was not only a big eye opener for her, but has transformed her teaching style and provided her with tools she loves to share with other language educators. She currently teaches Spanish to K3-1st grade students at UMS-Wright Preparatory School, a private school in Mobile, Alabama. She considers herself a life-long learner and is currently learning French. Her main goal as an educator is to impart a love and a passion to her students toward learning another language that will enable them to realize they ALL CAN do it as they strive toward proficiency.
