I am the World Language Coordinator for Durham Public Schools and a private World Language Consultant. I have 17 years as a World Language educator. I spent 12.5 years in the classroom teaching all levels of Spanish and French in middle and high school. I have degrees in Spanish, French & Portuguese with a Masters in Spanish Phonetics & Linguistics. I am also a NBCT. I am a strong advocate for using the communicative approach for teaching and learning languages as well as teaching grammar in context. I love spending time with my family, friends and dogs; as well as learning new things (especially languages), traveling, cooking & baking, and Latin dancing.
